Kung Fu Panda franchise returns with the third addition of the series. It was an amazing movie and I just absolutely loved it. As a huge “Kung Fu Panda” fan I was extremely happy that the third movie met the expectations the first two set. Po was more epic than he normally is. The ending was bittersweet because you know the likelihood of a fourth one coming out is very slim.

“Kung Fu Panda 3” introduces some amazing characters that tie up the whole story of Po the Dragon Warrior. Po’s long lost father, Li Shang, comes into the picture, answering the question of Po’s parentage. “Kung Fu Panda 3” also introduces a hidden village full of pandas.

Kia, an old villain, has escaped the spirit realm after capturing all the chi including Master Oogway. He is on the mission to steal all the masters on earth’s chi and become the most powerful. Po has to stop him from doing this by mastering his own dragon warrior chi. The hidden village of pandas is where they think can teach Po how to master his chi.

This movie has a hilarious underlying plot with Ping, Po’s adoptive father who’s been with him his whole life, and Li, Po’s biological father who just stepped into the picture. Ping worries about losing Po and being replaced so when Po and Li travel to the hidden village Ping hides in one of Po’s bag with the excuse that he wasn’t sure if they would have food he liked.

Will Po’s want to be with his real father overpower his love for Ping? Is Ping going to be replaced? Does Po master his chi at the hidden village? Is Kia defeated and all the chi’s restored? All of these are answered in the epic addiction of Kung Fu Panda.
